Day 2
Grandeur of Giza Pyramids & Egyptian Museum Treasures

After breakfast, your expert guide will pick you up from your hotel in Giza to begin a fascinating day tour. Your first stop is the legendary Giza Pyramids, where you'll marvel at the colossal structures of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. Explore the Valley Temple and get up close to the Great Sphinx, the mythical guardian with the body of a lion and the head of a king, standing watch over the vast funeral complex.

Please note: Entry inside the Great Pyramid or the Solar Boat Museum is optional and not included in the tour price. You may discuss these options with your guide.

Continue your day to the world-renowned Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. Housing the largest and most precious collection of Egyptian art, the museum displays over 450,000 genuine artifacts, some dating back 5,000 years. A special highlight is the exclusive exhibit dedicated to the treasures of Tutankhamen, showcasing gold and jewelry discovered in his tomb.

Later, you will return to your hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay. An optional trip to the captivating Sound and Light Show at the Giza Pyramids is available in the evening. If you wish to visit the Royal Mummies Hall, please inquire with your tour guide about visiting the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC).

Day 3
Alexandria's Ancient Wonders & Coastal Charm

Following breakfast, you will embark on a scenic transfer to the coastal city of Alexandria. Your exploration of Alexandria begins with a visit to the Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa. These fascinating catacombs, believed to have been started in the 2nd century A.D., showcase a unique blend of ancient Egyptian and Greco-Roman architectural styles, reflecting Alexandria's rich cultural history.

Next, you'll see Pompey's Pillar, a towering red granite column dedicated to Emperor Diocletian, standing as the tallest ancient monument in Alexandria. Despite its name, it has no direct connection to Pompey the Great but offers a compelling historical narrative.

Continue to the Citadel of Sultan Qeitbay, a magnificent 15th-century Mamluk fortress built to defend the city. This impressive Islamic monument was constructed using remnants of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local Egyptian restaurant in Alexandria.

Your final stop in Alexandria is the new Library of Alexandria (Bibliotheca Alexandrina). Reborn in 2002, this architectural marvel is not merely a library but a vast complex where arts, history, philosophy, and science converge, serving as a hub for dialogue and understanding. After a day of discovery, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay.

Day 4
Old Cairo Exploration & Departure

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your Giza hotel at approximately 08:00 AM for a fantastic orientation tour of Cairo's historic treasures. Begin with a visit to the Saladin Citadel, built by Salah al-Din in 1183 AD on the Moqattam Hills. This preserved historic site offers breathtaking panoramic views of Cairo and houses significant mosques and museums, including the grand Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha. Designed by the Turkish architect Yousif Boushnaq, its alabaster structure provides a striking contrast to the sandstone city.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Old Cairo.

Next, delve into the heart of Old Cairo to explore its major attractions, including the historic Hanging Church, the ancient Ben Ezra Synagogue, and the venerable Churches of St. Barbara and Abu Serga, one of the oldest Coptic churches in Cairo.

Conclude your Cairo adventure with a visit to the vibrant Khan el-Khalili Bazaar, one of the Middle East's oldest bazaars. Wander through its labyrinthine alleys, a bustling center of trade and culture since the 14th century, where you can find unique souvenirs and experience local life.

Following your captivating tour, you will be transferred to Cairo International Airport for your final departure.
